The 1st International Civil Society Fair, “Open Voices - Active Citizens” hosted by UNDP’s initiative Action for Cooperation and Trust, has taken place 3 - 5 May 2007, in the Ledra Palace area.

The aim of the Fair, which included 70 local and international Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), was to address issues such as corporate social responsibility, resource mobilization, networking and volunteering and included workshops, panels and live music performances.

During the Fair, the Cypriot Civil Society Strengthening Programme contributed to a number of workshops and panel presentations, exploring civil society relations with other sectors from an international perspective; accountability and constituency building for CSO effectiveness; and strategic communications for CSOs.
