organized a training on
"Public Awareness and Education for Development in Europe"
for Civil Society Organizations from both communities of
Cyprus on the 16th to 17th of
September 2008. the first day of the training was hosted by
the Cyprus Family Planning Association and the second day
was hosted by the Management Centre. The training included
useful information regarding the definition of
‘development’, the current state of the developing
countries, the stages in creating a development education
and public awareness raising project proposal and EU funding
opportunities for such projects.
